Half Ladder is a blog where I write on photography related news, issues, and other current events.

Originally this blog came out of my English Class, where students were suppose to pick a topic to write on for a blog. The thought behind writing a blog is that it's more engaging than essays, and posts can still be peer reviewed and we can go back to edit. Choosing a topic we are interested in, suggested to be related to a student's major make it's more important for us.

Half Ladder is something I want to use to explore the enormous photo community and help me think, discuss and share different ideas.


I'm a young student, photographer and arts enthusiast from San Francisco. I'm a Junior at SFSU majoring in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography.

Since spring '11 I've been a part-time Event Photographer at SF Station(sfstation.com). I've covered a range of events from in-store art shows, store openings, small public city events, music concerts, and club events.
On my own I have always taken photos of anything & everything, with greater interest in people and fashion.
